Can I copyright artwork I create using your Procreate brushes, textures and pattern brushes?

Yes! If you've created an original illustration using my Procreate brushes, textures or pattern brushes, you own the copyright to your finished artwork.

Using my brushes as part of your creative process doesn't affect your ownership of the illustration you've created. You're welcome to publish, sell or licence your artwork (provided it's in accordance with the terms of my licence terms).

The only distinction is the underlying brush content itself. Any original patterns, textures, stamps, grain images or other artwork contained within my Procreate resources still remain my copyrighted intellectual property and are licensed to you for use within your own artwork. They aren't transferred or sold to you and may not be extracted, redistributed, sold or used as standalone assets or incorporated into competing resources.

This is similar to using a licensed font or stock graphic, the creator owns the final design, but not the font or stock asset itself.

In short: your original artwork is yours, while the Procreate resources themselves remain mine 😊
